NO:81 HOTEL & DAZE TÜRKBÜKÜ RESTAURANT BEACH - SERENITY OF NATURE & ARCHITECTURAL HARMONY

Türkbükü is a place that clear blue seas, beaches and mandarin trees meets a vivid nightlife in the Bodrum peninsula. Its one of the most prestigious locations, not only in Bodrum but within the whole country. It was our pleasure to have the references of our previous projects in Bodrum create the opportunity for us to work with No:81 Hotel & Daze Türkbükü Restaurant. As an experienced fit-out contractor for hospitality projects, we undertook the luxury interior design, luxury fit out and application for the whole project.

The Venue & The Project

This design project consists of 24 rooms out of 44 rooms in total for the hotel, restaurant and the beach area. The whole venue occupies a total area of 6000 square meters. In the light of on-off touristic seasons of the area, the project duration is spread into two years. This year’s planning included one sample room and the beach area, leaving the rest of the rooms and high end restaurant design for next year.

Modern and Authentic Design

In accordance with the client’s requests, we aimed to create an authentic design language throughout the project that is both modern and timeless. This was achieved with simple but sophisticated details that included the continuity of the nature within the architectural design via nature/earth-based color palette with geometric and colorful touches. This can be exemplified in geometric patterns used in textiles inside the hotel rooms and the pillows at the beach, creating an energetic and dynamic vibe.

Blending the Lines Between Nature and Architecture

As the beautiful nature being the highlight of the venue, we were meticulous with our choices for the products and materials used in the restaurant and beach areas.

We analyzed the sun movements, shadow placements and the wind when choosing the top cover designs and general dividers. It was also essential to seamlessly integrate a public walkway between the beach area and the restaurant, that also has an elevation difference.

Details Create the Big Picture

Some of the challenges we faced during this high end contract were the material stock and supply, limited timings vs. long decision processes and the mosaic application for the wet areas. Our process to overcome the challenges included but not limited to have samples of all materials used in the project to fasten the decision making. Mock-ups were also created for the bar surface details, the complicated points of movable and fixed furniture. With an emphasis for the details and the finer points of furniture designs, we were successful in creating an authentic design language for the project.
