FLOWER LATTE: FLOWER HOUSE & FRENCH CAFE
FLOWER LATTE: FLOWER HOUSE & FRENCH CAFE

That is the question we asked ourselves before starting the Flower Latte, an F&B design project. We implemented the project in Kuwait, the second richest country in the Arab Peninsula.

Arab Coffee Culture

Arab culture has been using coffee as a "welcome drink" for 600 years, and coffee plays a big role in creating a community. Today, there are many new generation coffee houses in Kuwait, apart from Starbucks, Costa Coffee, Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf. The number of coffee houses in this country is increasing by an average of 25% every year. When the competition is so fierce, it is a necessity to differentiate and take your guests on an extraordinary journey. The venues compete with each other to provide a unique and artistic atmosphere. So, with Flower Latte, a café design project, we set out to create a venue that differs from other and offers its guests a time travel through coffee. Here’s Flower Latte, step by step:

An Interior Design Company in The Arab World

As an architecture firm we have completed the concept phase of a coffee house and restaurant project, Flower Latte. Our new interior design project, which excites us with its different style, for which we brainstorm intensively during the design phase and enjoy working for, is so ambitious that it could be the most original venue of the shopping mall in Kuwait. While we follow the implementation process of this luxury café design concept studies in different locations also continue to be worked on. We completed 3 different Flower Latte branches. The first one we finished is in Avenues, the second one is in 360 Mall, Kuwait. Then we continued with Nakheel Mall, U Walks and Medical City in Riad.

The Atmosphere of a French Coffee House and a Flower Store Combined in a Café Design

We planned the project imagining a French coffee house and flower store atmosphere, filled with various antique items and aging material finishes to make the incoming customers feel right at home. Besides, we used different patterns together to be able to create an environment full of diversity. In the coffee house where we used modern and local figures together, we balanced stylish and extravagant details such as giant silk carpet hanging on the wall and large stalactite chandelier hanging from the ceiling with applications such as flat reinforced concrete floor and aged plain wall paint. Each corner of the café, which can accommodate up to 135 people, will have a different social media sharing point. In café design, it is so important to be contemporary and create an atmosphere that fits right for the customers’ needs. The large community table, which we positioned in the centre of the venue, will serve crowded and long-session meetings.
